Favorite lesbian movie of all times

What is you favorite lesbian movie of all times? Why is it your favorite? For me, it must be Carol. Though Tipping the Velvet occupied that spot until last year, so now it's at #2. Then there's An Unexpected Love, which has a very important personal meaning to me (find out what that meaning is on our first Lesbian Movie Club, which will be posted tomorrow!)

Tipping the Velvet doesn't feel like a movie to me because it was a tv series in Britain. So if we are including similar things to this I would say Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit, probably because it was one of the first lesbian stories I saw in film or tv.

For movies I really do like The Kids Are All Right; but I doubt that will be a popular choice for the number one spot, I'll wait to see this shot down in flames after the first Lesbian Movie Club.

Having said this I have a shocking confession to make......I haven't actually seen Carol yet!

Mine is a tie between "I Can't Think Straight" and "Imagine Me & You." The main characters are attractive, they have cute stories, and there's more acceptance than judgment. Both have a little bit of a hurdle for the relationship, but are still "girl gets the girl" with happy endings - what more could you ask for in a lesbian movie?
