Have you guys tried A Place To Call Home? Marta Dusseldorp stars in it and at first glances it looks like a middle of the road soap opera but it draws you in. On British TV they show it in a daytime slot which means they edit it a bit. But even withthis it is amazing. Marta is great as Sarah, building a life as a Jewish convert in rural post-war Australia. It was cancelled after season 1 and there was an outcry so now they have just finished filming season 5. It really is one of my fav shows of the last few years. Not as gritty as some shows but so intelligent.
Several people that I follow on Twitter were either on panels, or attendees at this convention. I'm just curious to know if any Lady Parts TV viewers/followers attended, and if you did, could you please share your experience with us? For those that aren't familiar with it, here's a link: http://variety.com/2017/tv/features/sara-ramirez-sarah-shahi-amy-acker-clexacon-queer-women-tv-convention-1202003144/ This would be a fantastic opportunity for a gathering, either in conjunction with a Lady Parts TV meetup, or just to meet other followers. It would be a terrific event, either way. (See the link for the celebrities that were there!) I'd bet the next one would be bigger and better.
